Brushes are consumables that don't feel like consumables — they last long enough that people forget they're wearing until the results are already suffering. And by the time the cleaning quality complaints start, you've been running a compromised machine for weeks. A brush a season is a lot cheaper than a redo on a bad clean.
This is the genuine Nilfisk Advance OEM 13 inch Prolite Disc Brush, part number 56505765, brand new in the box. Softer bristles for finished floors and delicate surfaces; stiffer bristles for aggressive cleaning on unfinished concrete and heavy soil. Running the wrong grade either gets you nowhere or damages the floor.
Genuine OEM brushes come in the exact spec the machine was engineered around — bristle stiffness, height, and mounting pattern. That's why they last longer and clean better than the generic alternatives.
