It can be used for restoration on many surfaces including ceramic tile and grout, hardwood floors, bathroom fixtures, and commercial kitchen equipment. VaporLux® systems will efficiently remove dirt, debris, bacteria, mold, mildew, dust mites, pollen, wax, as well as chemical and detergent residue, petroleum based oil and grease, animal and vegetable fats from any surface. Using simple tap water and no chemicals, vapor molecules enter surface pores, violently expand, and force dirt from the bottom of the pore to the top of the surface. The result is a cleaning process that removes all those built up substances and leaves the surface similar to when it was manufactured. The optimum temperatures of operation are 260° to 300° at the tool tip. Anything over 300° and some surfaces will scorch or mark. Anything less than 260° and cleaning efficacy is markedly degraded. For every 18° of temperature increase, cleaning ability is increased 100%. VaporLux® equipment operates at 280° to 295° at the tip, this is the exact optimum temperature for this technology.
